British Sociological Association
Founded in 1951, the BSA is the national subject association for sociologists in the UK and its primary objective is to promote sociology. The BSA is the largest sociological network in the UK and is the public face of sociology in Britain. It publishes a number of journals including Cultural Sociology, Sociological Futures, Sociology, Sociological Research Online, Medical Sociology Online and others.
Project complete: article published in the BSA’s journal ‘Network’ that charts the lives of sociologists, written from the perspective of a sociology PhD student about the experience of moving overseas from Melbourne to Amsterdam and carrying on the PhD by distance.
